Biography:

2008-09: Played for the New Jersey Ironmen along with new KiXX teammate Adauto Neto, scoring 13 goals and 4 assists in 20 games.

Career: Born in Habana, Cuba, Martinez won an indoor championship in 2008 with the Baltimore Blast… in 14 regular season games, he recorded three goals and three assists in 2007-08… the defensive-minded Martinez began his professional career with the Cuban National Team, appearing in 17 international matches… he logged minutes in the Gold Cup, Copa Caribe and Pan American Games and netted a pair of goals while wearing the colors of his native country.. Martinez played in seven contests for the Colorado Rapids of Major League Soccer in 2004, becoming the first Cuban player to play in MLS… prior to the 2005 season, he signed with the Rochester Rhinos of USL-1 and remained with the outdoor club for three years before spending a summer with the Carolina Railhawks… Martinez began his indoor career in 2006, playing a pair of games for former KiXX head coach Omid Namazi… in two seasons in Baltimore, he has tallied 10 goals and seven helpers in 43 game...
