In what would be the last time he would ever suit up for the KiXX, goalkeeper Peter Pappas recorded an 80% save percentage in a match with the Massachusetts Twisters. Not only was it the last game in the illustrious career of Pappas, but the KiXX also closed out the historic Wachovia Spectrum after calling it home for 13 years. 6,732 fans showed up that day to see the doors close on Wachovia Spectrum, as well as see Pappas make his last save.
